General Summary - Security Receptionist To provide a secure and efficient operations by directing visitors and outpatients to the proper areas within the hospital. Provide current patient and hospital information, as required. Mission The mission of Baltimore Washington Medical Center is to provide the highest quality healthcare services to the communities we serve. Reporting Relationships Works under the moderate supervision of the Security Supervisor, with administration direction from the Director of Security. Working Conditions Mostly light work involving sitting and reading for long periods of time and extensive public contact. Potential for minimal exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials, requiring the observance of Standard Precautions and safe handling practices. Adheres to all hospital and department policies and procedures. Demonstrates understanding of hospital compliance policies. Performs related duties as required or assigned.
Work Experience
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in public contact work desirable.
