You&#39;ll collaborate on breakthrough medical technologies that unite multiple subject areas to build a connected digital ecosystem that advances medical professionals&#39; skills and improves patient outcomes.</p><p></p><h1><b>Position Summary:</b></h1><p>In this leadership role, you will set and execute the engineering strategy and lead delivery of a robust capital and reliability portfolio across a extremely strategic  manufacturing Campus. You will partner with business leaders to improve safety, quality, service, and cost performance while building a high-performing engineering organization and ensuring sustained compliance, validation rigor, and inspection readiness.</p><h1></h1><h1><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h1><ul><li>Set the site engineering vision, roadmap and lead a multi-disciplinary campus organization (cross-functional engineering, MES systems, Asset Management, and program/project management; ~51 colleagues), building capability, engagement, and a high-performance culture.</li><li>Serve as the primary engineering and project partner for multiple business units across two manufacturing facilities, aligning technical priorities to safety, quality, service, and cost objectives.</li><li>Drive organizational—evolving structure, roles, and ways of working (including integration/merging of engineering functions where beneficial) to accelerate decision-making, execution, and stakeholder satisfaction.</li><li>Own the site capital and appropriation expense budgets, setting investment strategy, prioritizing the portfolio, and ensuring disciplined governance and financial accountability.</li><li>Lead end-to-end execution of the engineering project portfolio, delivering compliant, right-first-time results through strong scope control, risk management, and schedule/cost performance.</li><li>Own the site asset management strategy—strengthening reliability, preventive maintenance, lifecycle planning, and KPI performance through continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.</li><li>Own the site validation program and inspection readiness, ensuring robust documentation, execution discipline, and sustained audit readiness (“front-room” readiness).</li><li>Ensure strong operational support by leading investigations and resolution of manufacturing nonconformances, troubleshooting equipment/automation issues, and sustaining critical MES systems to protect safety, quality, and throughput.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b><b>:</b></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li>Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or University degree is required, with a focus in Engineering or a related technical field.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience:</b></p><p><b>Required:</b></p><ul><li>A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a related, professional environment</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing environment (preferred).</li><li>Experience managing capital project portfolios and budgets, including investment planning and governance.</li><li>Working knowledge of regulated manufacturing expectations (e.g., validation, audit readiness, documentation discipline).</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across functions and sites.</li></ul><h1></h1><h2><b>Preferred:</b></h2><ul><li>Experience supporting medical device and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing.</li><li>Experience owning/leading site asset management and maintenance KPI programs.</li><li>Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) in a 24/7 operation.</li><li>Program/project management experience across a complex engineering portfolio.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Other:</b></p><ul><li>May require up to 20% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites</li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
